Pedroia acts like a little rat, and I hate how Red Sox fans are so in love with him. Plus, after the Red Sox lost the 2009 ALDS to the Angels, Pedroia was whining to the media about how the grounds crew did a poor job on preparing the infield, which led to him making a key error.

 

Pretty sure he was complaining about the Fenway infield.  If I remember correctly, he actually complimented the infield at Angels Stadium.

I don't know about "hate", but I certainly have a hard time getting too warm and fuzzy about players who do dumb, illegal shit off the field. Moreso than guys who just seem like jerks or who stick a syringe in their ass.

 

Good news is at least the majority of our roster doesn't fit that, I guess.
