Referring to Andrew Romine's play from yesterday:

No, AO will come up with some conspiracy after a couple rough outings that Scioscia only likes him because he has the same initials as Scioscia, oh and Arte likes him because he isn't a foreigner.

The thing is they're not even nicknames. They're just the players' last name cut off with a "y" added to the end.
