Yeah, I'm very curious to see what happens to his market when he (presumably) doesn't take his option for next year and goes back into free agency.  Then again, if this is just a complete lost year for him, he'll obviously take his option for next year and try to re-establish his value.  Regardless, he has damaged his value even further at this point.

It genuinely baffled me seeing people get upset that the Angels managed to control themselves this off season.

Snell on the DL. Maybe the Angels can trade Jose Suarez and a 1 year supply of lip gloss to the Giants for 4 inch spikes to but on Adell's shoes, so he can touch 2nd base quicker.

Lol!!! Good call!!

But he'd been the poster boy for why ignoring noise in advance stats can make for expensive mistakes so far this year.

To be fair, he had been on a bit of a HR spree of late.

He was in the majors long enough this season to hit 5 years of service time.  He can reject the assignment, become a free agent, and the Braves would still owe him the remainder of his contract.
