Relievers are volatile. Would you rather them sign Aaron Loup for 7.5M after coming off a 1 era and then proceed to diarrhea all over the place? Nobody expected such bad performances out of either Loup or Tepera, yet they produced horribly. I'd rather they sign low-cost guys that are easily replaceable both monetarily and without hesitation than hold on to a guy because he got paid.

Well, when you are throwing guys whenever during the game and not having set roles other than the closer in the bullpen. And your pitching philosophy and usage is dogshit. Yeah, guys are gonna get tired, wear down, and burn out.

The only guys that haven't been over worked in our bullpen has been Iglesias & Estevez! Though each were used for multiple inning saves and became less effective.

Or there’s a trade.

Big trade that Perry has been working on happens. Thaiss and Ward for SP.

I hope there's a trade, since that's more exciting than just a DFA.

Velocity is down, good idea to add that weapon.

Not quite the same, but Gausman was once DFAed and found his resurrected self with Perry’s Braves.

At the end of the day, he’s still probably just another guy to use as a spot-starter with guys like Daniel, Rosenberg, etc., but I do believe there is at least a reasonable chance he rediscovers some potential and becomes a legitimate starter. Totally worth the gamble.

lol sign him, Clevinger, and Bauer and see if the former bad boy Cleveland arms can find redemption as Angels .
