I'm guessing there must be some split here that I don't know about. Aybar must hit well against Felix and Bourjos is 0 for Tenjos against him. Or maybe it's the lefty/righty matchup.

Oh really? You think having a player with a sub .300 OBP hit leadoff is a smart baseball move? This guy seems clueless on this stuff. Aybar should hit 8th, Hamilton 9th. Scioscia understands baseball so well then how come we're so far under .500?

Their season stats are pretty close but at least Josh has a much higher ceiling and much better career stats.

Yea, this is just whatever to me. It's not like this will work any worse than the last two games where we've had two solo home runs and a run on a past ball. If you think about it Scioscia has done very little tinkering this year.

yes, but from 2011 to 2013 Aybar is hitting .308 with a .357 OBP against Felix.
