I was a freshman in High School.

Had just graduated college. Seems like yesterday I was watching the game 6 comeback at the bar next to where I was "working" with my bosses permission. Nicest thing a Dodger fan has ever done for me, in regards to sports. LOL.

Yep, I was already 14 years into working in the software field.

2002 was the first and only opening day I've ever gone to.  I think we got shut out by that fatty, Bartolo Colon.  I still have the souvenir opening day ball, and world series ball.  I also was able to go to about 30 weekend games that season, since tickets on the field level off of first base was $30 from the season ticket holder I bought tickets from.

I was at that game, too, with my dad. My dad also attended Game 7 with my uncle (and not with me).

I was in 7th grade. I wore my Angels cap almost every day that year.
 

I was made fun of for liking the Angels almost every day in 2002, so it was wonderful being able to prove the haters wrong.

I was there as well.

Colon was just a wee bit thinner in 2002.

That popular guy Milton Bradley even drove in 2 runs that night.

I hate to say this, but Tim McCarver called the Spiezio home run twice during his at-bat. "Down and in, and it's 5-3." And the pitch was down and in, the first one in that location during that epic at-bat.

What a good year that was. I got a job promotion, bought my first house in Mission Viejo (which three years later I sold for nearly 4x the amount I paid for it) and the best part, our youngest was born on Dec 20th, 2002. Crazy that she's 19-years old now.

I was in 9th grade. This was largely pre-internet days and I wasn't allowed to stay up late to watch the full games so I had to wake up every morning to catch Sportscenter.
