Suarez was through 4 innings at 34 pitchers before that one to Stanton.

Might need for him to get through one more so we don't see Cishek and other trash from the bullpen this game.

4.1 innings, 1 ER, only 41 pitches. Only 41 pitches. That is almost unheard of out of Angels pitchers.

That is 13 batters retired and only 1 hit in 41 pitches. That is about 2.9 pitches per batter and Stanton bled that at bat for twice that.

I’ve seen this movie before….early lead in Yankee stadium….lose game late….maybe the ending changes this time…

I was just asking myself if I really wanted to watch the rest of the game. If we go on to win, cool. If we don't, i really don't want to see it.

Suarez should finish the game if his pitch count stays good. He couldn't do any worse than the garbage from the pen.

He's this years version of Noe Ramirez for him. Feels like he pitched him every goddamn game last year and feels the same this year regarding Cishek

Man. Really impressed with Suarez. Just goes to show that you don’t give up on young pitchers as he looked terrible when he first came up.
