When Trout won his first MVP, he lead the majors in strikeouts with 184.  Just putting that out there.

Trout has struck out as much as Stanton this year.

Strikeouts are now a regular per of the game. Its weird to me still.

Strikeouts are at its highest ever. These days, pitchers are throwing hard, people have hot and cold zones for hitters, etc. So Trout's 184 strikeouts in 2014 would not be as bad as it seem for his era. He just might surpass his career high in strikeouts this season, which is like the only thing annoying about Trout's season so far.

That’s not a good enough answer. This team was hitting just fine earlier on....let’s not blame the balls

It's probably either going to be Trout or Stanton who breaks Reggie's career strikeout record. Stanton has over 1,400 career strikeouts and if he wasn't so injury prone, he would be like at 1,900 career k's by now. Only way Trout breaks Reggie's strikeout record would be due to longevity, which is the same way that Reggie got the strikeout record.
