Up and down is average runs allowed (from most down to least), left to right is average runs scored (lowest on the left increasing as it goes right)

I was confused because I thought it was backwards, since it looks like runs scored is on the Y axis, so the teams in the bottom right scored fewer runs. It's been way too long since I took a math class.
