Add another walk to Marsh's day. So his Triple-A debut is 2-3 with 2 walks and a homer. I wonder how much time they'll give Marsh if he keeps performing well in Salt Lake?

End of June/early July IMO.

Was just going to post this. Our 11th round pick out of Georgetown in 2019 but that's literally all I know. Between him and Jhonathan Diaz (other than some old scouting reports from Diaz when he was with the BoSox)  I can't find anything at all on them.

Our future leadoff hitter. 

He profiles well there. Good contact, takes some walks and has the power/speed combo you love from the top of the lineup.

This won't matter much but a couple things I noticed.

1. Brandon Marsh didn't do a stupid stutter step around 3B. 

2. Matt Thaiss must take to new (old) positions pretty quickly because he doesn't look lost or uncomfortable behind the plate at all.

about #2 - saw their game the other day and it looks like he's been back behind the plate for his career.  Blocked a few well.  pop times are still a WIP.  footwork is solid not great.  pitch calling and framing way better than I thought they'd be.  sets targets a bit too much over the plate for what I've seen from others but that's not a tough fix after some film.  Looks like he can be a solid backup or even an ok/mediocre starter if his bat plays.  Better than a Bemboom and maybe as good as a Jason Castro in his prime although that's probably a stretch.

Marsh: i was more impressed with the single than his HR.  Great adjustment and bat control.  That kind of AB shows me he'll be successful at the next level....unlike a hacker.  I hope Marsh has more than one close buddy because they might not be working in the same place -- both in the short & long-term.

I really hope Marsh lights up AAA and tempts the Angels into calling him up in June sometime.

I like the idea of a Thaiss/Stassi platoon, if only for all the S's. When they do well as a combo, we can say That was Thaisstasstic! (Beat that, ettin).

Marsh is that type of guy who is going to to everything above average to very good. I see a bit of Grady Sizemore in him.
