I hate the idea of trading Simmons. Unless we're getting back an outfielder with a 35+% K rate and sub-.250 career average I don't even want to hear about it.

Not necessarily true. It isn't just 20 games, but potentially also the postseason, and Simmons is a nifty player to have for the postseason.

We people stop with this "no one will trade Anyone for 20 games" how is this any different than other trade deadlines. They’re trading for someone for the rest of the season and the playoff run. To try and win a championship.

What is interesting is the Yankees are starting two prospects in a doubleheader tomorrow. Could be to see how they fare against major league hitters in what could be a Bundy + Simmons for a haul of SP prospects coming back the Angels way.

I’d be surprised if an AL East team brought Bundy back.
