I am not I just don't understand the hostility about someone reporting something that may or may not happen. Till he actually signs all it is are people with information giving it to the fans. Would people rather not know anything till the player signs? This is way more fun, different rumors, different people saying different things, it's entertainment. Relax enjoy.

I’m not bent out of shape ! KevinB just thinks it’s necessary to defend Gammons honor or whatever.  Gammons sucks objectively.  It doesn’t have anything to do with the Cole stuff.  Tho, the Cole stuff is evidence of him being shitty at this.  I think a lot of you know what my posting on topics has been but I guess sometimes I forget that the AW community is pretty big.  I haven’t posted that the Angels will get Cole. And I haven’t said that reports saying he’s coming here are “good”

I generally take stuff like this as an opinion piece until the reporter says that a deal is done. Sports reporters are allowed to have opinions and prognosticate to create interest, even if they end up being completely wrong. I take anything Peter Gammons says with a grain of salt.
