Reggie Jackson gets too candid over Stanton injury: 'He's been out all f---ing year'

Reggie Jackson was incredibly candid when asked about Giancarlo Stanton's quadriceps injury on live radio, but he had a good reason for his vulgar honesty - he thought he wasn't on-air.

Appearing on MLB Network Radio with Jim Bowden, Ryan Spilborghs, and Mike Stanton, Mr. October dropped multiple F-bombs while discussing Stanton's absence from the New York Yankee lineup for Game 2 of the ALCS. 

 

BOWDEN: Giancarlo Stanton’s quad is hurting him, he’s not in the lineup. Your thoughts?”

“JACKSON: Fuck, he’s been out all fucking year! How the fuck could he be hurt? (laughs) This isn’t on-air, is it? Honest to god?”

Jackson is spot on. Giancarlo Stanton has a vagina.

Not sure if sarcasm... but if serious one wonders, Is he?  One would think if he were the yanks wouldnt carry him on the roster and waste the spot.  It almost seems like they are calling him out by even having him there

FOUR seasons out of TEN, he exceeded 123 games played.

In TWO of the past FIVE seasons (2015 and 2019), he only played a combined 93 games.

Maybe he needs to go back to being known as Mike Stanton, to improve his staying healthy luck?
