When you post a -2 WAR season and 80 OPS+ season at age 37, yeah, I would consider *any* positive WAR and league average OPS+ to be a legit rebound.

I still think that is the likely scenario....never thought he'd quit this soon (unless he physically just couldn't go) but I do doubt he'll make it through the end of his contract....with only 2 years left on his deal at the end of this season, a buy out is more manageable....maybe restructure whatever is left on the contract with the personal services portion of his deal....keep him in the organization....

I'm on vacation, just checking in a couple times a day or when I can. 

I leave banning up to the Mods when I'm out of pocket. If they're cool with someone than I am. 

We've lightened up a bit over the years. Back in the day, we had quick triggers.
