Think of the team leadership when Adell arrives.   He's got rock solid role models like Trout and Simba to learn even more from.

This team has such a solid core. It’s just getting that starting rotation to stay healthy and be at least mediocre. If that...when that happens, look out Astros!

Is no one at least a little concerned or find it interesting that the Angels hired a "return to performance strength coordinator" nicknamed Juice?

glad to hear OJ is working again.

If the Angels don’t win in his debut we will all be thankful that there is no team in Louisville Kentucky that he would inevitably sign with, because reasons.

I watched him play his first game back ... looked  good on the field. He hit the ball hard a couple of times for line drive outs in CF and had two K’s.

I was surprised to see the very low batting averages by the team.

you must have forgotten that they're an angels affiliate.

They really are not a good hitting team at this point. This is a lag year for the 66ers, all the talent graduated out last season and this new wave struggles at the plate. I went to one of their better games Saturday and they managed to put it all together. Sunday they got blown up, again.

They have the 2nd worst record in the Cal league. The lowest team batting at .205/.304/.299/.602 and have scored 117 fewer runs than the top team, the Jethawks, in only 50 games. They only have a collective 19 home runs, the second lowest is 30, the top is 52, the Quakes.

The only bright spot is their pitching is third in the league in ERA. The worst is the Jethawks followed by the Quakes. The old adage pitching and defense wins games obviously never applied to the Cal League.
