RIP.  Even though we knew it was coming, still sad to hear.  It's pretty courageous of him to keep doing his show till the end, with dignity.  Jeopardy won't be the same without him.

Will Farrell’s straight man Trebek was classic.

Still one of my favorite post-1970s SNL skits.

There was a rumor last year that the play by play guy for the Kings, Alex Faust, was the likely successor to Trebeck. I wonder how accurate that was. Guess we’ll find out.

Appreciated how calm and steady and professional Trebeck always was. He’ll be missed.

I was hoping he was going to be part of the 5%. As sad as this is he lived a long life and that means someone else get's to join that 5% club that may still had a few things left on their bucket list.

The survival rate for pc beyond 5 years is 9%. Still way too low.

Between 5-10% depending upon staging. He was late stage 4 when it was diagnosed. He never really had a chance, statistically. 

Meanwhile we fuck around and spend trillions of dollars to keep American Airlines and the Cheesecake Factory solvent, spend hundreds of billions on weapons of war and yet allot so very little to cancer research. 

Fucked up priorities.

my last remaining uncle has had the slow acting PC for the last six years. he's starting to slide a bit and his weight has gone down a fair amount, so he's probably not going to be around much longer.
