Believing the current trajectory is untenable isn’t a reason to vote for someone or a philosophy that speeds it up especially when that involves more government control and taxes. Given the two choices I prefer the slow bleed where I can still achieve a middle class lifestyle.

I was just answering Phil’s question with my honest opinion. I don’t really care who wins or loses. It just makes me sad how much hope people place into these evil, evil human beings

Ya but I do believe in the philosophy.  The conservatives have never ever done anything about the deficit boogeyman you keep crying about.  They just funnel more and more to the military and the huge business interests.  Deny it.  Go ahead.  You’d be fucking wrong.  That is objectively all that ever happens with conservative government.   I don’t really give a shit that you guys call me an idiot for thinking that maybe that money should start getting funneled  to social services that help people instead.  To large national projects that build things.  Fine.  And yes I know.  Now comes the part about how the government fucks up everything the takers stealing from producers.  It’s all horse shit.

Hey, I don’t disagree with the notion that most politicians are evil fucking goblins.  They surely are.  Maybe foolishly, i’m hoping that Bernie is not.  Not any worse then thinking the Angels might win the World Series soon I figure.  He has objectively stayed true to the things that he talks about for decades.  To ideas that I believe in.  So, I’ll support him and hope for the best.  I’ve posted all over the forum about my awareness of the huge challenges that exist even if he does somehow win. 
 

and as far as people changing their minds ? I mean sure.  Most probably won’t.  Maybe some will if things go well.  I can’t really worry about that.  I’m not interested in trying to convince hard right wingers.  They aren’t changing my mind and I figure I’m not changing theirs.  Arguing on here is a thing to do.  Occasionally it’s funny.  Gotta admit this kc guy is pretty funny.

Bernie is definitely a good person, but whether that continues while he's in office remains to be seen. All I know is he's fought for civil rights for over 50 years so he's down with the brown.

Also, another funny thing for you contards: I fully supported John Kasich in the R primaries. If he was the nominee I may have even voted for him. Don't agree with a lot of his policies but I would have taken him over Hillary or Trump easily.
