Unique Opportunity

Next Friday I will be going to the Dodger-Astros game at Dodger Stadium.  This will be the first time going there for a game since Bonds was going for 754.  It is a work thing, where a handful of us will be guests in the Coca Cola Suite.  What I found out yesterday is Coke wanted to do something special for us, so they set it up that we will be on the field for batting practice.  I am sure this will be a cool experience that will be some what tempered because it is at Dodger Stadium instead of Angel Stadium, but still a pretty cool thing.  Just thought I would share this little humble brag.

Sorry, couldnt resist.  That will be awesome.  Family and i got to go on the field at Big A during the 7th inning stretch a few years back, really cool experience.

I will probably wear shorts and a polo shirt of some type.  I am not a fan of wearing your team gear to a game where your team isn’t playing.  Also I don’t have a Scioscia jersey, nor would I own one.

Closest I came to being treated so well, was getting to sit in the Edison suite for ALDS game 1 in 2008.   That was a cool experience, right behind home plate.

The loss that night stung (F'ing Jason Bey), but the experience was great.

No you wouldn’t go because you own your own company.  But when you are chosen to go in a company like ours, and they ask you to bring your wife and it is an event where everyone other than the owner will be there, yea I will go.
