Dave Hogue, Google exec, isn't happy about Kavanaugh.

“You are finished, @GOP. You polished the final nail for your own coffins. F–K. YOU. ALL. TO. HELL.”

People are rewarded now for allegations without evidence or corroboration. Good job there, UNC! What's next, an endowed chair in her honor?  Maybe a new major, "Justice Studies"?

Swell country we've become.

So women who are sexually assaulted should only go forward if they have evidence? Tell me, what percentage of sexual assaults do you believe have evidence?

They should immediately come forward after an assault occurs with hopes to secure some type of evidence. Unfortunately, those kind of crimes are very difficult to prosecute because of lack of evidence. Most will always be a he said, she said scenario. Still, an accusation does not provide the evidence. I'm a firm believer in women learning to physically defend themselves from assholes that wish to assault them.

When someone is sexually abused, there is an incredible deal of shame that makes speaking up about it the absolute last thing they want to do. I understand the burden of proof, but victims who speak up years after the fact aren't any less courageous than victims who speak up sooner.

I was replying to FS79's comment, in which he basically said that women should shut up unless they have proof.

I think you are overstating his statement.  Evidence can mean a lot of different things.  Regardless, it is such a difficult situation overall.  I want to believe a woman when she makes a claim of assault.  I also want our justice system to keep the idea of innocent until proven guilty.  Many times these two principles don't match up.

I didn't say that and didn't mean it to include all women.

If you can't connect the dots and see what a calculated hit piece this was by the Dems then I can't help you. Starting with Feinstein holding on to that letter than springing it on the committee at the last minute, then all the rest.

Ford's supposed BFF doesn't recall a damn thing about a party or Kavanaugh and she was allegedly there. It goes on. Nobody but Ford knows anything.

The Avenatti BS is just that, nonsense.

The whole thing was BS engineered to prevent Trump's pick from getting in.

Anita Hill's life arguably improved dramatically after she said Clarence Thomas left a pubic hair on a Coke can.

From government worker at the EEOC to celebrated university professor and trustee, and best-selling author.

When will the book deal be inked for Blasey Ford, I wonder? When will the honorary degrees start coming?

??? What in the serious F*ck?  She was born to farmers in Oklahoma and worked her way in to Yale for law school.  She worked at EEOC FOR Clarence Thomas, so if that's such a shithole "government worker" job then how did he get nominated for the Supreme Court?  She was already a professor when the hearings took place.  But you're right, she needed to fabricate a sexual harassment allegation to get anywhere, she's clearly just opportunistic.

I think Rico is dead serious though

His name was Rico
He wore a diamond
He was escorted to his chair, he saw Lola dancing there
And when she finished, he called her over
But Rico went a bit to far
Tony sailed across the bar
And then the punches flew and chairs were smashed in two
There was blood and a single gun shot
But just who shot who?
