Cano suspended 80 games for violating drug agreement

Recommended Posts

Pretty pathetic suspension if most of it is served during games in which Cano is physically unable to play anyway.

That factored into Cano's decision not to appeal and start the suspension immediately. In effect, the suspension might be just 20 or 30 he games in the regular season.

The postseason ban will likely be irrelevant. Lucky for JeDi he hired a second baseman to play center field. Did he suspect anything?

the players union must have had the world's greatest negotiator to include that time spent inactive due to an injury can also count as days serving a suspension. bravo, whoever you are!

The owners only care about their interest.  In this case, they dont want the Mariners punished they want Cano. That is why Cano will not be paid  during the suspension.  And they doubt care if its during an injury or not.  So long as Cano doesn't get paid MPB feels it's an adequate punishment

Idiot sportscaster on WABC morning news said that this is why the Yankees TRADED HIM to the Mariners because they knew he was a juicer. She gets paid for this!!

She also claims that the hand isn't broken, that it's just an excuse for his absence, and that the Mariners thought they could keep it under wraps, and his suspension would be shorter.

He picked up Gordon for the international money to up their Ohtani bid, that's why he ate all of the contract.

No suspension isn't reported, the sportscaster is a shill for someone's agenda.
