sometimes I wish I wasn't as much of a fan.  Or that I didn't know anything about baseball.  Then the total incompetence of this team wouldn't register and I could go to bed without the disgust I have right now.

You guys are going on and on about bunting. And I somewhat agree. But the main problem is that the guy just can't hit any more. He has no concept of what to do at the plate right now. He's up there guessing.

It would be nice to have a season where we didn't cost ourselves 15+ games by shooting ourselves in the dick repeatedly. It's like there's a common element here but I can't quite place it....

Over his last 20 games, Calhoun has an OPS of just barely over .200. Yes, .200. He has actually been getting worse as the season goes on.

Calhoun doesn't even have a double yet on the season and we're about to be in mid-May in like a couple of days.

the end result of this game is me having less interest in this team going forward. 

 Baseball is supposed to be fun.  That wasn't fun.  Yesterday wasn't fun.  I want to watch stuff that's fun.

133 PA and he's got 2 XBH and more strikeouts than hits.

What sucks is that his defense has been amazing and we see the drop off in the field when he's out but the guy's bat is so goddamn awful that you just can't justify his playing time solely due to his glove. If he was hitting like .220 with some HR's and drawing some walks you could at least tolerate him being a bad hitter but the guy is unplayable. Angels are playing AL games with essentially a goddamn pitcher in their lineup(your usual pitcher, not GOATani)

No you comment was stupid.  Its understandable with such a frustrating loss that some stupid comments would be made.  However the decision was made early that Ohtani would not bat the day before he pitched.  So it's really stupid to suggest he should.
