Well, I'll say this, we certainly have shown this year that we can absolutely pancake the also-rans of the AL.  Which is exactly what a good team needs to do.

we destroyed the A's too, the AL is extremely polarized while the NL has almost absolute parity

I think the Yanks/Sox/Stros/Angels/Indians will be the playoff teams comfortably

the Jays, A's, Mariners are not good...

the NL has almost 12 teams still reasonably in it, it will go down to the wire.

I'm not concerned about the A's or Mariners, but I think the Jays will be a team to keep an eye on.  The fact that they have a ton of games against the Yanks + Sox will hurt them, though.

It's cool when trades work out for both teams.  I am personally rooting for Newcomb to do well.  We got exactly what we needed, and if Newcomb continues to advance, the Braves will have got what they needed as well.

Braves are gonna be fun as hell. Farm is loaded and they already are seeing 2 of their young guys doing some exciting things in Acuna and Albies.
