Our injured pitchers have nothing on this guy:

(from ESPN)

Rays reliever Jonny Venters made it back to the bigs yesterday after six years and three Tommy John surgeries. The coolest part? His wife and three little children were there to witness it. Venters didn't know he was getting promoted until shortly before noon. He called his wife at 12:30, and she and the kids somehow managed to hop a 5:30 flight from Atlanta to Baltimore, arriving at Camden Yards just in the nick of time to watch Venters retire Chris Davis (the only batter he faced) in the bottom of the sixth. "It was special," says Venters. "It was like making my debut again."

Amazing that Albert was always hurt year after year causing a lot of his struggles and now that he’s finally healthy he’s just no good anymore. Let’s face it, we’re now carrying this guy and it’s going to get worse and make it more difficult to win the ultimate prize.

You’re an excellent driver

Added Simmons, Kinsler, Cozart, Upton and Maldonado and it didn’t change the fact that Albert is still hitting fourth in the lineup. Lack of talent you say? seenoevil had it right.

Admittedly, he hits a lot better with men on base (nearly .290 BA so far in 2018).

The team is 16-9 so they’re off to a good start. They’ve had to adjust the way they do things with the acquisition of Ohtani. Trout has been his amazing self and Ohtani is crazy good. Let’s see what we look like in July.

I get why fans are tweaked over Calhoun’s struggles but Upton struggles are more destructive to the team batting third.

I’m not suggesting to move him in the lineup  but ... golly

Venters was nasty 2010-2012. Dude had one of the sickest sinkers i've ever seen from a lefty.

You don’t think there’s fans from every team in prison for murder.
