Could you imagine the criteria for a manager to get into the Hall of Fame is winning one World Series. There  would be a lot managers in the Hall of Fame. I doubt Scioscia  gets in with his week resume.

You mean like Leo Durocher? Won only one World Series managing the Giants back in 1954 but had a 26 year career.

Bobby Cox managed for 30 years and only has one World Series Ring, he's in the Hall of Fame.

Earl Weaver only won a single World Series Championship. Same with Whitey Herzog and both are in.

Wilbert Robinson never chalked up a World Series Championship, he's in.

Al Lopez managed the Indians and White Sox for 18 years, no Championship but he's in as well.

Imagine if they all had to meet your requirements. Your stupid, predjudced, asinine requirements.

They were all good managers.  Scioscia isnt.

All Scioscia has going for him is the fact that he has managed this team for 18 years.  Longevity, nothing more.

He's had terrible postseason success, many players and gm's absolutely hated him (probably all time leader in most hated manager by former players), and word around the league is Scioscia has been washed up for the last 10 years now.

This is not indicative of a HOF manager.  It's not prejudice, its fact, wake up.

Being top ten all time in wins might narrow the list down enough.  (Not sure where Sosh is on that list.  I do know there are only one or two with his wins not in the hot.  Pinellas and I believe Mauch.

I doubt you when compared  Scioscia with the all time managers.   His total wins and winning percentage in comparison of his peers are pretty impressive.

Besides Napoli which former player ever said anything negative about Scioscia.

Currently Scioscia is #22 in wins by a manager with 1570.

If the team wins 80 games next year he will move up to #18, ahead of guys like Tommy Lasorda, and Dick Williams, but about 100 games behind Leyland.

He has won Manager of the year twice (only Showalter, Cox, La RUssa and Maddon have won more)

He has won five American League West division titles  (surpassing the number won by all previous Angels managers combined)

The hatred of Scioscia is still something funny.

Wins?  Isnt that like judging how good a hitter is based on his rbi total?

I already said longevity is the only thing going for him.  He should have been fired after the 2012 disaster, but since he has a 10 year deal and literally the dumbest owner in baseball, he's managed to stick around longer, thus getting more wins.
