Trout was on a 55 HR pace before getting injured.  Judge is on a 58HR pace.  Trout is 5" shorter and 50lbs lighter.  If Judge is juicing Trout must be double-juicing.  Or maybe they're both just good athletes and generally nice guys and we should give them the benefit of the doubt.  Trout is nearly Mark Mcgwire size and Judge is among the largest players ever.  What's so hard to believe about them hitting 50+ HR?  Prince Fielder hit 50 and the only supplement he ever took was nachos.

Trout is still the better all around player but Judge is now selling a lot more jerseys. Judge is trending.

Judge is also playing for a better covered team, which includes a ton of bandwagoners. But more important, if were judging by jersey sales, hes new...nobody bought his jersey until now. Trout fans who buy jerseys likely bought one over the last 5 years.

He's just an elite athlete with tremendous size, whose job is to hit baseballs as far as he can. He plays in Yankee Stadium, a place designed to make baseballs land in the stands beyond the OF wall (hitters paradise) and playing his first season in a year in which MLB clearly changed something about the baseballs because they're flying further than before.

There's nothing fake about what Judge is doing. Now eventually pitchers will adjust and MLB will be forced to do something about the balls to legitimize these results , so he's better right now than he'll be for the next few years, but he's still a star.
