Aaron Judge???

More home runs are being hit now than at any time in the history of MLB and that includes the PED era!!!!

Back then (1998) there were all kinds of reasons why so many home runs were being hit. (Like smaller ball parks juiced ball ect.)

Color me still suspicious.

McGwire (6-5), Bonds (6-2) and Canseco (6-4) were pretty big also..didn't stop them!

And why would ones size be a factor in whether or not one used the juice?

Clearly more than just little guys have roided up.

right.  but there are actual penalties now and when you are that big, it's more likely you are going to have the kind of power he's showing without roids.  Also, why does suddenly having power mean anything different than having in game power from the start?

A guy his size hitting a ton of hrs is hardly a shock.  Mcgwire, Bonds and Canseco all gained a ton of weight when they started taking roids.

Mark Trumbo hit a lot of HR's, including in the derby a few years back.

That said, while Mark Trumbo at 6'4 is a large man, Aaron Judge is even bigger and stronger.

Being that I've been into body building I can tell you that Aaron Judge doesn't look at all like he's juicing. He's just a big and strong kid.

and strikeouts rates are at an all time high.  The top 10 k% seasons in the history of baseball are 2008-2017 in exact reverse chronological order.

It's the approach.  Not steroids.  Guys are selling out on every pitch.  There are no attempts to merely put the ball in play.  It's hit it hard, miss, or don't swing.  A more granular version of the three true outcomes.

MLB sent out a memo to all 30 teams recently saying there is no evidence of the balls being juiced.

Quote

The memo concludes: "The baseball in use today tests well within the established guidelines on every key performance metric. Furthermore, there is no evidence that the composition of the ball has changed in any way that would lead to a meaningful impact on on-field play."

BTW..pitched balls are being thrown harder the last two years also..interesting.

MLB would never make it seem as if they are trying to ruin the integrity of the game.
