Victor Rojas: "Welcome to AngelsSkus.com!  I'll be your host this evening.  Along side me tonight is Mark Gubbi....Mark Guzziga...Mark..."

Mark Gubicza: "Mark Gubicza, former Royals rockstar."

VR: "Yeah, whatever.  Let's get you caught up on the out of town scoreboard."

MG: "How are my Royals doing?"

VR:  "Well, Mark, they won again tonight, which means that the Angels just gained a half a game on Texas."

MG: "Royals are ROCKING it tonight."

VR:  "So, Mark, what are the keys to the game."

MG: "Tonight I'm going with 'Discovery Channel' by the Bloodhound Gang for all you young, hip kiddies out there"

VR: "What, praytell, does that song have to do with either the Angels or baseball?"

MG: "Well, like the animals on the Discovery channel, tonight someone is gonna get f..."

VR:  "Woah, watch it, there are kids watching right now."

MG:  "Oh, right, sorry, I forgot.  Anyway, the only question tonight is, who's it gonna be?  Who's the one that's going to take one for the team?"

VR:  "Take one for the team?"

MG:  "Yeah, of course. Back in my day when I was with the greatest organization on earth, the Kansas City Royals, we knew what we had to do when we were in a funk."

VR:  "What was that?"

MG: "Fat chicks.  HUGE fat chicks.  We're talking 400, 500 pounders here.  SLUMPBUSTER BABY!"

VR:  "Mark, this is a family broadcast."

MG:  "That's right, we might even bang their whole family if we got desperate enough."

VR:  "Aaaaaand, moving on..."

Come on ladies and gents.  The anger has to be waning.

At this point, there are just too many things that have gone wrong to be mad about.  It's quite Shakespearian.

Howie GIDP's to end it?  That was almost scripted.

Leading the league in GIDP, outs on the basepaths, defensive futility.

Near the bottom in categories related to RISP, and almost everything pitching related?

Lots of injuries including our best pitcher and one of our best hitters.

It's quite remarkable when you think about it.

It's truly sad that we are referring to Peter as one of our best hitters, I understand he has played well but just another wow moment that a team with this much talent (on paper) misses Peter's offense.

I was referring to Pujols.  Hurt but still playing.
