another good game tonight vs. washington. Kempe scores his first career goal on a beauty of a shot. defense really shuts down the caps offense, and they get goals from Kopi, Gaborik, and Carter.

solid game tonight. Now we just need calgary and st. louis to start sucking a bit lot.

Dorks give the Kings a teeny bit of a window with their regulation win over the Blues.    Still only 4 pts. back of the Blues, but man did that Monday loss to the Blues hurt.

At least they beat Buffalo, but got zero help as both St. Louis and Edmonton won.

My guess is he yanked it left and went OB, or severely sliced it right and has a 70 yard pitch shot just to reach the green. Par is definitely off the table.

Two albatross contracts with Gabo and Brown. Is it time to blow up the team? 

Feels sick mentioning it but moving Doughty might be something to consider.

no way do you move doughty. not a chance. sure, he'd bring in top talent, but what you gain in hay you lose in oats.

gaborik and brown were both bad contracts, and both should be exposed in the vegas draft. 

somehow they need to figure out how to bring in some scoring in a way that doesn't hurt the roster too much. we need a kwame brown for pau gasol kind of trade.

How much would the Golden Knights be willing to pay towards either Brown's or Gaby's contracts?  Maybe $2 million/season?  

Brown could be a good mentor to add for an expansion team.
