Favorite Movie of 2015?

I was looking at that list and they seemed to suck or I wasn't interested. I don't remember all the movies I saw but I liked the new Bond, but would probably say the best movie I saw this year was Sicario.

The hateful 8, The Revenent, and Starwars are all looking great. I think at least 2 of those movies will make my top 10.

Haven't seen Sicario yet, but heard great things.

 

But yea somewhat underwhelming compared to last year if you exclude the The Revenent, starwars and hateful 8...which you shouldn't..

Between Mad Max and Martian.  Think I'd lean towards the Martian so far. 

 

Then again, I tend to gravitate more to action/sci fi.

Man, I went to the theatre because I'd read great things about that movie and thought I'd give it a shot.  I was super disappointed.

i thought "it follows" was terrible.

total letdown given the rotten tomatoes score.

i love horror movies too.

it was just.... boring to me.

Not a lot of movies stood out to me this year.

I guess if I had to chose right now I'd go with Madmax and Ex Machina.

 

I still need to see Sicario, Creed, Legend, Spectre and of course Hateful 8, Revenant and Starwars.

I rented It Follows and had zero expectations which is probably why I liked it.

I keep hearing that Creed is really good, I will check it out on DVD.

A discussion about this movie came up at work a few weeks ago and shortly after it was on HBO during a free weekend.  I DVRed it so I could watch it again.

I liked Mad Max in the theater.  Watched it at home and didn't like it nearly as much.  

 

I'd put "Inside Out" and "The Martian" at the top of my list.

No Escape with Owen Wilson was pretty good.

 

After that.............I would have to say Minions Movie

Inside Out I thought was one of the worst PIxar movies.  Just didn't do it for me. 

 

Creed is not as good as Rocky.  But it follows a similar story path.  If you liked Rocky, I don't think you would be disappointed with Creed.

 

Spectre was a Bond movie.  Nothing more.  This one had a backstory to Bond, but it wasn't clearly defined and was lost unlike Skyfall.  It was really a confusing mess of too many storylines and not enough time.

Yeah I wasn't a huge fan of Inside Out either.

 

I am watching the Minion Movie today or tomorrow.  Looking forward to that.

In liked Mad Max it was a adenaline fuled movie in the theatres. Rogue Nation was pretty decent.

I thought The Gift was pretty good.  Suspenseful and held my interest, and the ending was great. Jason Bateman and Joel Edgerton gave good performances.
