This is by far the dumbest logic on this board.

I once had a professor say there was no excuse for any of his students to not be the top person in the world in their field--all we had to do was come up with an extremely narrow definition of the word "field".

2nd to last in the AL in slugging pct.

2nd to last in the AL in OPS .001 ahead of the White Sox.

This is an offense has that completely lacked the ability to put rallies together except for one 3 1/2 week stretch in July.

The Twins will play those teams, combined, 30 times.

 

Not really sure the Angels can complain about unfair scheduling.

the point is you can point to every loss and conclude why the game was lost then conclude how the game could have been won.

Good point. A great closer blows 6% or so of saves any given season, so if between Smith and Street they blow 10% then it's about 9 blown saves a season between them.
