It's a Sunday, and Scioscia's record on Sundays is 0-352 (don't bother looking, I checked and that's accurate).  It's a getaway day and I'm probably going to watch at least some, if not all of the game.  It's against a division rival and in sweltering heat.  We're going for a sweep.  The front office is unstable.  Everybody is already thinking about the All Star break.  No way in hell we win tonight.  None at all.

 

Just wanted to share all that.

This is the part that was so frustrating.  As a team, you can't count him being in the lineup.  Glad he's gone. Even though Texas isn't paying much, they have the emotional ups and downs with not knowing what to expect from him.

As was the case with Vernon Wells....the money they are paying these guys means nothing to me. Just them NOT being on the team is all I care about and it feels freakin fantastic to not have to see that turd in an Angels uni/lineup/sitting on the bench anywhere. Once they are off the team, they are erased from existence and it's like it never happened

Hamilton had to be placed on the disabled list on May 31 — just a week after rejoining Texas — because of a Grade 2 left hamstring strain and now he’s probably headed back there with a groin deeply bruised vagina problem.
