Scioscia's aversion to sabermetrics

-- WHY is he so opposed to it?

 

-- WHY wouldn't he embrace it for the benefit of understanding, and predicting, how OTHER teams are going to play vs. the Angels?  We're outmatched and outsmarted at the managerial level because other managers have their act together and Scioscia doesn't. 

 

At the rate things are going, the Angels are going to be lone dinosaurs unless Scioscia finally sees the light.

it's really not about intelligence, but rather "yes men". scioscia is a dictator. i never really believed that, but it's undeniable now.
