Richards update: MRI results revealed a torn patellar tendon in his left knee. Surgery is tentatively scheduled for next week.

Going to have to do something....Skaggs out and Richards very much a ? mark....pretty clear what we'll go after this winter....and since we need 2015 help, if you like Niese, go ahead and make a move now if the Mets aren't totally unreasonable (not likely)....

yeah, Shields isn't a bad idea. But he's 33 and probably has his best years behind him. Angels need to stop signing FAs like that. The thing that was great about Richards and Skaggs is they're both so young with unknown ceilings.
