Texas is primed to be swept

You're setting yourself up for frustration.  We are one game under .500 on the road.  Nothing is a sure thing, and almost anything can happen in that band box of a stadium.  Oh, and we are leading off with a starter who hasn't won a game all year.

My last jinx post resulted in Garrett Richards going 3-0 and below 2 ERA so I have faith in myself.

Except Richards has been Acey pretty much all season long and your thread was specifically about his extremely low homerun rate. League leading in fact, but now he's trailing king Felix because he promptly gave up a homer in his very next start.

Didn't he promptly give up a jack?

ARLINGTON, Texas (AP) Robbie Grossman snapped an 0-for-28 slide with a career-high four hits and the Houston Astros climbed out of last place in the AL West, completing a three-game sweep with an 8-4 victory over All-Star pitcher Yu Darvish and the Texas Rangers on Wednesday night.

Grossman and rookie George Springer homered for the Astros, who moved into fourth place by a percentage point over slumping Texas.

Dallas Keuchel (9-5), one of five candidates for the final spot on the AL All-Star team, allowed four runs and eight hits over 6 2-3 innings.

The Rangers lost for the 10th time in 11 games and have dropped 18 of 21. At 38-53, their .418 winning percentage is the worst in the majors - just behind Arizona and Houston, both 39-54 for a .419 mark.

Where are the Rangers fans this year anyways?
