i disagree, we actually have the relievers we need already, other than a legit closer. i like ernesto a lot, but he's not a great closer.

 

if the angels had snatched up a legit closer in the offseason our bullpen could be: closer, smith, ernesto,...that's your late inning bullpen. fill it out with guys that aren't being over used in high leverage situations like lyons, maronde, rasmus, ddlr. you've still got guys like shoemaker, berg, etc. down in AAA for injury or fatigue necessity. that bullpen is entirely major league worthy, but for some odd ass reason we'll never get it. i just keep seeing the minutiae missing dipoto. something that i think may cost him his job.

You're hardly worth arguing with...but going out of that 1st inning with 1 run was shit, absolute shit. And it came back to haunt.

This team is crap offensively and defensively.

They played like crap. Santiago pitched well and he had crap all around him.

#1 in hr's, #2 in runs, and #7 in average. damn, what would a team that ISN'T crap offensively look like?
