2014 Ducks vs. Kings Stadium Series Game

Not bad from the Reserve level at all!

What a bad setup.  They should have made it so that one goal is on the logo, going out towards second base.  

 

With the setup they have now, there are no seats that are remotely close.

^That would make it harder for the corners and outfield to see.

 

This isn't the game to go to if you want a good view of the ice, anyways...

Pull the rink closer to home plate. Put temporary seats on the outfield side of the rink and forget completely any thought of using the current pavilion seats. It'd be better, though it's still not going to be fun to watch.

At least this time if I went, I would be amongst my own at Chavez Latrine, being a Kings home game.

 

And it was a smart move to make it a 6:30pm game, in case it's one of those warmer January days.

wow tickets are no joke for that game.

over $500-800 for the lodge MVP level. 

field box MVP which is lower is half the price. funky.

looks like fun. i think i should be able to roll to this.

Wicked, My Season Ticket rep gave me the option to buy more tickets at their real pricing, not the bs stubhub pricing. I can see about snagging one for you. Beats paying 300-500 more than face value. I'm sitting Loge Section 107 row L. Right behind home plate (center ice)

not 100% i can make it, but if i can i would be coming down with my gf so snagging two from your rep might be tough to do.

Any word on what the jerseys are going to be for each team?

buddy of mine is in the industry. not sure which company, but he essentially makes custom pads for the goalies.

he said the kings are wearing throwbacks, sounds like ones they've worn before, while the pads he made for Hiller are top secret and he couldn't talk about it but said the Ducks are going to be wearing special jerseys with a color scheme that is crazy and unexpected....it's top secret as well. He sounded excited about it though, should be cool.

I'd like to go to this game, but considering the prices, the sightlines, the fact it is at Dodger Stadium, and a possible conflict, it is doubtful.   I'd much rather get an amazing seat at a playoff game.  Again.

yeah stadium set up could be better.

 

best seats are down the lines.

 

the usual 'good' seats for baseball are lousy for the hockey set up.

 

I agree with prior posts that they probably could have arranged the set up better to have more decent seats.

 

If you get a seat up behind home plate..........geez........you might as well watch the broadcast of the game on your hand held device......

 

and, yes -- ticket prices are out of sight.

 

OK - here's the shoot out........we've got Jones, they've got Hiller -- I don't like this.

I'm gonna be on my perch at the Acapulco Inn on 2nd St. in tha LBC to watch it!  Too expensive, especially considering I saw the Devils hoist their first Cup back in '95, and the Kings 1st Cup...  Free parking wherever you find it!

Yeah, the HBO ones were pretty sweet.

 

I remember the Rangers one well. They also had player ones....or maybe they were still team ones, with Kane and Neal.
