Current Jan. 25 forecast is mid 70s high, which means mid/high 60s by 7:00pm.

I believe the 2011 Winter Classic was played at night due to weather issues or something at Heinz Field.

 

I REALLY hope it drops at least into the 50s at game time. I don't want to be sweating out there.

This Stadium Series game is a must go for hockey fans. I know its a bit pricy, but ****. How often are we going to see something this cool? Also, the other Stadium Series games have way more tickets available on Stubhub. This LA game has sold more.

This winter weather takes the word bizarre to great lengths.

THIRTY-FOUR straight days without rain, and two straight weeks of temperatures mostly in the high 70s and 80s? 

 

I love this weather.   I also love the change of seasons, as dulely noted in the weather thread in the Hangout section.

i'm pissed that they're gouging fans for this. it's yet another reason that i'm not going.

i have a friend flying down from washington to go the game. he'll have fun.

 

heard that there's a sand volleyball court being set up, and that it's being set up by home plate. why? might be one of the reasons that the ice is so far away from the seats.

The NHL Revealed show started tonight on NBCSN. What a great way to show us the behind the scenes stuff in hockey. Cool show. Wednesdays at 7:30.

just read last night that parking for the game is already sold out.

 

there's a shuttle service from union station (don't know any costs for it) that'll take you to the stadium for the game.

Honestly if I was going to the game I'd take the subway to Union and take the shuttle.

Parking isn't sold out. The reserved parking is, but the general parking ($20) is still available.

Driving. I'm meeting some friends in Hollywood around noon to grab lunch and then we're carpooling over around 3. Bought my parking pass online so hopefully its a quick process getting in there.
