WTF is with this bleeping weather?

I guess that late arriving summer weather turned into late arriving autumn weather.

Temps in the 80s and 90s later on this week in SoCal, in November

The weather a Lake Cuyamaca is absolutely perfect right now, somewhere in the low 70's. I have my feet up on the patio overlooking this small lake waiting for my lunch.

this is easily my favorite time of the year.

the weather has finally started cooling and the nights are fantastic.

i LOVE the sun going down early.

i love the smell of fireplaces burning real wood fires.

thanksgiving is on its' way, and christmas is right around the corner.

We had highs mostly in the mid 70s over the past week. Yesterday the high was 49, and we're expecting a high in the mid 50s with rain for the second time in a week.

Heaviest rain I can remember. Numerous power outages in Long Beach and Lakewood, power still out for many 10 hours later. Mine was out for about 90 minutes last night.

No, now they are saying we are going to die by a mudslide so they will need more money for that.

Regardless they're still going to levy additional taxes via water bills, we'll continue to see most of the rain run off into the ocean and coastal cities will still get major push back on desalination plants.  The good voters of CA will keep voting for the same idiots that won't have us prepared for the next drought.

Around 1 am there was a tremendous downpour that sounded like a freight train going by the house. Not exaggerating. Lots of thunder and bright lightning too.

Update on the open window:

When she came home, she was pissed.

It was the back driver's seat. It was .....wet. i used my hands to find more moisture. There was none.

We have a fan we used for a few hours.  This morning,  everything was completely dry. 

 

Biggest non event since Y2K.
