Sounds like we got two solid, fairly well-polished college hitters in the first few rounds. I don't hate that at all. They tend to be more projectible than other draft-eligible players, and we need bats that can make an impact soon.

I just don’t get the people who are upset at the draft, what do you base it on?  Are you upset that they didn’t draft someone based on some publication ranking?  Or because the media isn’t applauding our draft?  Is there something Perry has done, draft wise, that you object to in the first two years?

I was upset about not taking Kumar rocker and was reminded I don't know anything.

I was vaguely familiar with Rios before the draft, which for someone picked in the third round is saying something. Tommy Troy wasn't the best hitter at Stanford, it was Rios. 

The man can hit, but if I'm not mistaken, isn't he a man without a position?
