Maybe he’s back!  But this doesn’t make sense unless Halonatic13’s suggestion is correct and he replaces Velazquez on the roster.  Or Walsh goes down?

Escobar is an option at 2nd, he’s played 9 games there this year.  So Drury at 1st, Escobar at 2nd and Rendon at 3rd.  Fletcher/Velazquez at SS.

I’ve seen so many bonehead defensive mistakes too. He’s also struck out on a pitch clock violation. He’s had his shot….he missed it. Time to move on.

Get rid of Fletcher isn't a stud but let's get rid of two of Padlo, Walsh, Rengifo, and Velazquez

Not sure if it’s been mentioned, but Sam Blum at the Athletic has an article out about Fletcher apparently written shortly before the call up.  Somewhat critical of the lack of communication by the Angels.

I do not think they would release Rengifo. Trade yes he can play all INF positions and OF. Many others you could DFA first.
