I just think you and some others have decided that he's a certain type of reporter and you view everything he says or does through a certain lens.  That's fine, but I just don't agree with your view of him.  I think he offers a useful perspective that the other beat writers don't.  (Cue Stradling trying again to explain to me what a beat writer is supposed to do.)
