Months, but I hope it doesn't interfere with a new owner hiring the right people and talking with Minasian heading into free agency. 

If this teams wants to be competitive then they need to have a game plan heading into the beginning of the offseason. 

They can't have a year where they asses what they need.

I think new ownership generally want to make a footprint and will spend money especially for a team that hasn't been successful in a while.

My thoughts about Ohtani are more about his perspective and how it will effect his plans knowing the team is going to be sold.
