I'll bounce off @Inside Pitchbecause he's far smarter than I am. 

As a catcher, which is a really difficult position to develop, he should get accustomed to working with all the pitchers we drafted who are currently in AA. Why bring him up now? The season is lost. 

You want him coming up here and playing with these idiots instead of continuing to develop on our most successful farm team? No way. Let him keep doing his thing. It doesn't help him or the Angels to call him up right now. This team is a fucking clown show. I don't him anywhere near that right now.

And to me it has nothing to do with him coming up to this team and it has everything to do with facing competition he’s probably not ready for, while playing the most demanding position on the field.
