OC Register: Angels’ Anthony Rendon still waiting for full return of lower body strength

"If I have no lower half, I’m not going to be able to get through the ball. It’s going to tail and it puts more stress on my arm.”

Setting up for DL?  How long before his lower half comes back? Hopefully he is just making excuses. Think it would be hard to hit HRs with no lower half.

A point to think about, as Pujols was never the same after his lower body started to decline rapidly.

Granted Rendon is still quicker than Pujols was in his declining years.

I hope the hip and lower body are fully functional soon.

I’m guessing it’s simply a process.

This seems true more than ever. Why is that? Sometimes I wonder why people even follow the Angels because they don’t seem to be happy when they win and they are really super angry when they lose.

just look at the main board when they have a two-game losing streak in april. it's misery a hundredfold over.

you could easily change the aw.com slogan to "angelswin: we aren't happy unless we're miserable."

It really is quite baffling.

the great philosopher Strad also said that Pujols would retire early from his contract, Trout would voluntarily move off CF, and that Ohtani wouldn't be able to hit & pitch in the majors by the new GM.

Strikeout GIF - Strikeout GIFs

Yes I said that about Albert, I’ll need proof I said Minasian wouldn’t let Ohtani hit and pitch because I don’t remember thinking that.  And Trout will move from CF voluntarily at some point.

One thing I think we can expect to see with a new GM is the end of two way players, whether it’s Ohtani or Walsh in the majors or William English in the minors.
