I think he started out as a starter and the Reds stuck him in the bullpen. Not a good plan but you tried. The lesson here is: “Never try.”

We can also put Upton at catcher so that it clears a space in the outfield and makes he’s batting numbers more palatable while probably making him a top 15 catcher offensively.

Iglesias and Aroldis Chapman were both very effective starters before defecting. But it's been years and they've since found their niche in the 9th inning.

Speaking of ways to help the team, the Angels should have Iglesias gain like 600 or 700 pounds.  Being that big in the middle of the field will reduce the need for the middle infielders to need much range.

That will make it easier to find a SS who can just be stationary, glove and throw.
