The Dbacks suck shit correctly.  In that they suck so comprehensively that they acquire worthwhile picks.  And hey, they even mix in a rookie first start no hitter.  Pretty cool.  The Angels even suck at being shitty.  It’s not an exaggeration to say that the Angels can’t do anything right.  Pathetico.  Very sad.

Mr. Gilbert has no-hit experience. He tossed one in high school, but it was just 7 innings.

Tyler Gilbert completes the no-no

 

In the first start of his MLB career, 27-year-old lefty Tyler Gilbert tossed the third no-hitter in D-backs history. Gilbert notched 5 strikeouts and 3 walks across his nine innings against the Padres at Chase Field.  

The D-backs' previous pair of no-hitters were Randy Johnson’s perfect game against the Braves at age 40, on May 18, 2004, and Edwin Jackson’s no-no against the Rays on June 25, 2010.
