Barria has has plenty of ML innings under his belt to where I no longer consider him a “prospect”. Barria is just going to be an inconsistent starter through his career.

If Barria stayed in, it probably would have reached 8 more quickly.

I would have left Barria into face atleast one more hitter and see if he could get him out. It's a lost season, let him go out there and pitch.

Exactly.  I don't see how it benefits anyone to bring in mediocre relievers who likely won't even be with the team next year, rather than just letting a young-ish guy try to work through some issues.
