He was on a 75 pitch count @eligrba4ever.  He was erratic in the first inning, walking the bases loaded, but got out of it.  He walked a tightrope all game, but only allowed 1 hit and struck out 7

Walsh was not good either over more at bats than Rojas when he first came up, so maybe reserve judgement just a wee bit.

Too early to say he isn’t good.  He certainly hasn’t performed but Walsh was pretty awful his first 125 or so at bats in the bigs.

Pujols should just maybe stop trying to pull everything, and use right field more, like he did in Spring training  and maybe his Average will be higher.

Sutton is still going overboard with exit velocity.  I get it: it can be a useful stat.  But I honestly do not care if Pujols' exit velocity is his highest since 2016.  It has produced an OPS below .600.

Just because Walsh struggled early on then succeeded doesn’t mean Rojas will eventually succeed.
