Uh, Walsh struck out 35 times in 79 at bats his rookie season.  So yea.  That is comparable.

No they are not.  Walsh at least drew some walks and when he made contact he hit the ball pretty hard.

He was barreling the ball at about the same rate he is now and he was able to drastically reduce his strikeouts.

Every single stat of Walsh is much better than Rojas in his first year.

It's just like how every time this team gets off to a slow start someone mentions 6-14! and it's 2002 all over again.

No, it isn’t like that.  There is a laundry list of guys that have not been good when they initially came up.  I don’t think Rojas is going to be anything other than a AAA depth guy.  But it takes much more than 8 or 10 games to decide that.

I was talking about the k rate being comparable.  Because you said Walsh didn’t strike out like Rojas is and Walsh actually struck out at a higher rate. Regardless we are spending too much time on this when the game is actually pretty good.

Yes like Marc Krauss, Taylor Featherston, Craig Gentry, Jefry Marte, Alfredo Marte, Nolan Fontana, Jack Mayfield

Most players come up, suck, and never make it and retire after bouncing around. Rojas is most likely in that camp.

I like Schebler so far.

Even in the strikeout he swung at pitches in the zone and took balls outside the zone.

I really hope he can take over the right fielder spot as that position has given the team 0 production all year except for when Walsh plays there.
