While the offseason isn't yet over .. my hopes of something significant / good happening are dimming, and yeah, I think this was a rather poor inaugural offseason for Minasian.

If he can draft and develop well, and cultivate a good farm system (which is allegedly his forte), then all is forgiven, but this is a rather dubious debut.

I am guessing your deeper concern is with the overall talent on the roster. And I would agree with you on that. They haven’t done enough to improve the roster this offseason to seriously compete for a title. But by itself, I don’t have a problem with this move.

I think they missed a huge opportunity to upgrade an obvious area that needed an upgrade and instead have now clearly committed to a bad player with almost no potential for upside.
